The Vancouver 125 Poetry Conference Free Reading Series, Friday October 21st
The Vancouver 125 Poetry Conference in partnership with W2 Community Media Arts and The League of Canadian of Poets is pleased to announce three free readings by Steven Heighton, Stephanie Bolster and David Seymour. These readings are taking place at the W2 Café (#250-111 W Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 1H4) and are open to the public.

Steven Heighton will be reading at 11am

David Seymour will be reading at 1pm

Stephanie Bolster will be reading at 3:30pm
Steven Heighton has published five poetry collections, starting with Stalin’s Carnival, which received the Lampert Award in 1990. His third collection, The Ecstasy of Skeptics, was a GG finalist in 1995, and his most recent collection is Patient Frame.
David Seymour’s first book, Inter Alia (Brick Books, 2005) was short-listed for the Gerald Lampert Award for the best first book of poetry in Canada. Most recently his poetry has been short-listed for the 2009 CBC Literary Award, and thrice selected for the Anthology of Best Canadian Poetry.
Stephanie Bolster’s first book, White Stone: The Alice Poems, won the Governor General’s Award and the Gerald Lampert Award in 1998.
