Ghia Aweida

Ghia Aweida is a resident of Vancouver.  She was born in Beirut, Lebanon on November 15, 1965.  She immigrated to Canada in July of 1986 during the year of the Expo. Throughout her life, she has found comfort and solace in writing and reading, and always loved to write. In the last few years, Ghia has been working hard to perfect her craft and her writing. Ghia is a founding member of the Intrepid Pens DTES Reading & Writing Society, and has had poetry published online and in Megaphone Magazine.
