Steven Heighton

Steven Heighton has published five poetry collections, starting with Stalin’s Carnival, which received the Lampert Award in 1990.  His third collection, The Ecstasy of Skeptics, was a GG finalist in 1995, and his most recent collection is Patient Frame. He has also published several novels, including Afterlands,which appeared in six countries, was a New York Times Book Review editors’ choice, and a best of year choice in ten publications in Canada, the USA, and Britain.  His poems have appeared in publications including London Review of Books, Poetry, Brick, The Walrus, Poetry London, Best Canadian Poetry andModern Canadian Poets.  This fall, ECW will publish his Workbook: memos & dispatches on writing.
